EkilogE-invoicing
E-invoicing: is your equestrian centre ready?
France’s e-invoicing reform comes into force on 1 September 2026. For an equestrian business registered for VAT, it changes how invoices are received, then how they are issued.
The timetable
1 September 2026: every business must be able to receive electronic invoices, and large and mid-sized companies must issue them. 1 September 2027: the obligation to issue extends to small and micro businesses — that is, most equestrian centres.
What changes
Between businesses (farrier, vet, forage supplier, an owner boarding through their company), the invoice travels in a structured format — Factur-X, UBL or CII — through an approved platform. For private riders, it is e-reporting: the data of your sales is sent to the tax administration.
What Ekilog does
In every plan, invoices are issued in Factur-X and exchanged over the PEPPOL network. Ekilog also sends the e-reporting of your sales to private riders. Payments, reminders and the accounting export follow, with nothing typed twice.
And an association?
An association that is not registered for VAT is not concerned. If in doubt, your accountant will decide.
